There’s something a little special about a Sunday spent with family, and while visiting my parents in North Carolina, I got dressed up to go to church with my mum. 🤍
For church, I wanted something that felt smart and put together without being too formal, so I went for this cream trouser suit with a black bodysuit underneath. I love the relaxed fit of the wide-leg trousers and the short-sleeved blazer — classic, but still very much my style.
I kept everything else simple with black open-toe flat sandals , oversized sunglasses and my usual accessories. The black against the cream just pulled the whole look together.
And yes… the sunglasses made it to church too. 😂😎
One of the things I love about fashion after 50 is knowing that you don’t have to choose between being comfortable and looking stylish. Sometimes the simplest outfits make you feel the most confident.
But this Sunday was about more than the outfit. Being back in North Carolina with my parents and getting ready to head to church with my mum made it one of those lovely little moments that I’m glad I captured. 🫶🏾
Sunday style, family time and a little church chic. 🤍
